159: Where To Get Free Stickers

Howdy! I've taken up scrapbooking and in doing so, finally found a use for all my stickers. I don't believe I've ever purchased a sticker, yet I have many. Below I list some of the more accessible free sticker sources.

Where/How to get free stickers:

  1. Free Stickers on Reddit: If you have a reddit account, subscribe to the FreeStickers subreddit. Folks frequently share free sticker offers there. Most are political or promotional.

  2. Freebies on Reddit: If you have a reddit account, subscribe to the Freebies subreddit. Folks frequently share free sticker offers there. Most are political or promotional.

  3. Hey, It's Free Stickers!: This site lists free stickers in an easily scrollable format where you can see what you're requesting. Most are political or promotional.

  4. Express an interest in art schools: I can't speak for all art colleges, but I know SVA (The School of Visual Arts in NYC) generally has a few student-designed sticker sheets in their annual art program brochure books. If you ask for more information, as a prospective student, they'll likely send you a copy.

  5. Stop by the Nonprofit Booths at Street Fairs: They often have free stickers they're handing out.

Honorable Mention:

Amazon Prime sends out a magazine around the holiday season that's intended for children to mark the gifts they want. Sticker sheets are included inside, so don't toss the magazine without having a look, if you're already a customer.

Newsletter

Howdy! This past week was supposed to be spent editing Soul Walker, my paranormal women's fiction novel. And I did make some progress there. Not as much as intended but some. I also came up with fresh story ideas.

One of my nieces learned how to call me on Facetime recently, and on days when she reaches out, I focus on creating visual art since I can't edit/write and talk to a small child. While chatting with her, I made many digital mockups for future art projects, as well as a single woodburning.

I've knocked out a couple more scrapbook pages, mostly while on Facetime. The binding is starting to fill up and I believe there's only room for 1-3 more sheets. I was hoping to finish it before I fly out to New York to see my in-laws, so our house/pet sitter would have a funny coffee table book to peruse, but I don't see it being done by then, even excluding the cover, which I don't have ideas for.

I finally finished reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. It's long but good. My next read will be much shorter. I have quite the backlog at home.

I'm hoping to focus on revising Soul Walker this week, at least until vacation o'clock, at which point I'll switch to watercoloring (with the niblings). I have no intention of bringing my laptop or woodburning tools to a cabin in upstate NY.
